BECCA
SANDLER
Becca Sandler is the founder of wellness business, Balance with Becca. She is on a mission to create environments and experiences where people feel empowered to take control of their own wellbeing, physical, mental and emotional. As an internationally trained and accredited Transformational Life Coach and Yoga and Meditation teacher, Becca works with inspiring individuals and organisations who genuinely care about their wellbeing, supporting them through 1:1 and group programs and facilitating experiences that promote wellbeing practices just like this retreat.
Becca is super passionate about the power that yoga, meditation alongside careful introspection and reflection and the impact it can have on our lives. Taking the time out to reflect on the year we have had, acknowledging our achievements and milestones and releasing anything that is no longer serving us to make way for what is meant for us. Becca will be leading 2 coaching workshops throughout the retreat as well as slow flow yoga practices and meditations.
INDI
MOUNTAIN
Indi Mountain is a South London based yoga teacher, specialising in Vinyasa Flow, Yin and Pre/Post-Natal Yoga. She started practicing yoga in 2012 and found yoga instantly had such an amazing and positive impact on her life. Over the years her once weekly practice developed into so much more, eventually leading her to India where she did her first yoga teacher training in 2018.
Indi's yoga journey started as a means of building strength and staying fit, but quickly developed into something much deeper when she really started to notice the calming, grounding and mindful benefits of a regular yoga practice.
Indi, travelled to India and pursue her passion as a yoga teacher acknowledging it is the best decision she has ever made. Now teaching classes embodying both a strong physical practice and nourishing breath work / mindfulness Indi builds strength and works safely towards poses with her students.

FAQs
Q: Can I come on my own?

A: OF COURSE. We are welcoming solo retreaters with open arms! We know everyone comes on retreats for different reasons, so whether you are looking for some solo time or to meet new, likeminded, wonderful people, come along!

Q: How does payment work? Can I pay in instalments?

A: Our main goal is to ensure this retreat is accessible, so we require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. Then encourage paying in monthly instalments of 30%, 30%, 10% which will ensure full payment is settled by 31st October 2024, 4 weeks prior to the retreat. Of course if you'd like to pay in full, on booking, you are welcome to do so.
Q: Can I join if I’m just a beginner?

A: Absolutely. There is no such thing as being ‘bad’ at yoga or meditation. We will be offering different types of practices throughout the weekend. Some more dynamic, some much slower - they are both challenging in different ways. But Becca & Indi are there to guide you safely and confidently through each of them. We are here to move, breathe, reflect and release together!

Q: What happens if I have to cancel?

A: To secure your spot, you must pay a non-refundable 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the retreat. If you need to cancel you can find full details of our cancellation terms in our T&Cs. However we cannot offer refunds after one month before the start date unless we are able to fill your spot.

Q: How do I get to The Quaives, Kent?

A: The full address of the retreat venue is:
The Quaives,
Seaton Road,
Wickhambreaux,
CT3 1RU.

If you are travelling by train, the nearest stations are Canterbury West and Canterbury East. If you are coming from London, the most direct trains are from Kings Cross St Pancras or Stratford, taking just under 1 hour to Canterbury West. If you are travelling to Canterbury East we recommend booking ahead and suggest Green Light Cabs - 01227 292929.

For those driving, there is plenty of free parking on site.

Additional area info:
The Quaives is around a 30 minute drive from the beaches at Whitstable, Deal, Margate, Ramsgate & Folkestone.

Q: I’d love to book a massage. How do I go about booking this?

A: The Quaives have a selection of massage therapists to recommend us. Their prices are £80 for 60 minutes or £110 for 90 minutes. Please let us know as soon as possible if you’d like to book any treatments so we can request further info about how you can book and the treatments themselves!
