Yoga
Lead with the heart...
... and the head will follow
Having been introduced to yoga over 10 years ago by my gorgeous mum as a hotheaded, short-tempted teenager, my personal practice has grown and deepened with every year that passed. Having practiced in studios, on retreats and in my bedroom I have grown to be incredibly passionate about the power of yoga holds. I realised what a gift it was to be able to roll out my mat whenever, wherever and reconnect with myself in a quiet yet playful way. I realised that I had the ability to share this with people around me regardless of their age, ability or history with yoga.
One of my core grounding philosophies is Sangha. I am a strong believer in building strong, meaningful relationships and I love enabling other’s to do the same. Whether you are wanting to meet new people, roll out a mat quietly and get connected to the self or perhaps a bit of both, this is what I aim to facilitate in my teaching.
Expect to reconnect with yourself, tuning in to what your body and mind need. Narrowing but
deepening the focus, by connecting to your breath and synchronising it with powerful movement. You will slowly learn to let go of any expectations you once held for what your practice should be and just enjoy what it is, in that moment, whenever we have the joy of practicing together.
Santosha, meaning contentment, is what we can slowly work towards together, but it is called a yoga practice for a reason, right?
WHETHER YOU'RE A HARDWORKING TEAM, GROUP OF FRIENDS, OR INDIVIDUAL, I'VE GOT YOU COVERED!
